Two literary quotes on the current global crisis:
Slave, I have set my life upon a cast,
And I will stand the hazard of the die:
I think there be six Richmonds in the field:
Five have I slain to-day instead of him.
-- A horse! a horse! my kingdom for a horse!
-Richard III - Act V, Scene 4
Joshua: Shall we play a game?
David Lightman: Love to. How about Global Thermonuclear War?
Joshua: Wouldn't you prefer a nice game of chess?
David Lightman: Later. Right now lets play Global Thermonuclear War.
Joshua: Fine.
- WarGames (1983) - Memorable quotes

There. Not don't you feel better?

Your Say

My dad worked for 27 years in nuclear weapons and nuclear weapons testing for "A Major Department of Energy Laboratory". He saw live open-air tests back in the good 'ol days....

Wargames was one of his favorite movies.

He used to watch that one a lot with me, when I was a kid. He usta say that movie really 'gets it'. He told me that movie was the closest portrayal to the world he works in. I didn't know, it was classified, he couldn't tell me....

Now he's gone and I work in the building next to where his building used to stand. I like "Terminator". I think that movie really 'gets it'. I'll tell my son that's the closest portrayal to the stuff I work on. It's classified, I can't tell him....
