I am a cradle Episcopalian. I am without a parish now since I have moved and have not bothered with establishing the link as I did earlier. I knew it was over when Bishop Robinson was brought up at the general convention, that the church had become just another social-political pressure group.
I am 42. They cannot afford to lose me; I have been on vestrys, I have been active. They cannot afford to lose someone like me. But they did.
