The Japanese. Nuked Too Much... or Trying to Get Their Mouths Around Fujiyama Volcano Plate

vk-10.jpg

We put Japan's most phallic-looking roast beef meal into our mouth at VolcanoKitchen | SoraNews24
Since we’d already become somewhat desensitized to the initially unsettling sensation of peeling strips of meat off the top of the shaft, we mercilessly crushed the egg, sending viscous, gooey liquid running down to the base of the meat rod.

I saw all kinds of weird food in the Philippines. I used to frequent this bar/restaurant near my house when I lived there. I frequently ordered pork sisig which my description of was a screaming hot cast iron plate of steamed rice, cooked onions, chilis and spices with pork meat and sprinkled with calamansi (tiny limes). As it was served a cracked egg was put on top then stirred in and self cooked cooked immediately. Good stuff!....until I found out the "pork meat" was soft jowl and brain from a pig. I would have been better off not knowing. Anyhow, I was a regular so once I found out what it was, they switched up the meat to tuna. Whatever the "tuna" was, I don't know for sure and did not ask. It was still good with a cold San Mig beer.

As for the beef in the PI, it was terrible. Tough as shoe leather and probably less tasteful. It was all imported from Australia. American beef is KING!

Well I have no subdued fag tendencies like that author so I see no dik in that pik but I do have a ravenous desire for well prepared grub therefore I could see me tearing the hell out of that thing 1 tiny slice at a time til it's gone.

Don't know about that half cooked dippy egg though, never been a big fan, you know what they did to John Dillinger. I stay away from them. Fully cooked or not at all.

Dillinger? Eggs? Wot means?

Yer references are getting more obscure lately. Yesterday it was "Google moldilocks.gif," the only reference cited to which was.....your comment on American Digest.

Meta?

@Rob, Moldylocks is the young female college communist that swore to snatch 100 nazi scalps at a mix-up at Berkley and got punched in the forehead.

With that, she got meme labled as Moldylocks because she is a white person with those hygenically nasty dreadlocks.

Somebody captured video of her getting punched in the face and converted it to an animated gif image.

I took a chance on suggesting googling moldylocks.gif would bring that image up in the line up.

About Dillinger.
The night before the day of his demise he stayed in a campsite in Mooresville in central Indiana.

The following morning the campsite offered breakfast and he ordered his favorite ingredients, a dozen dippy eggs and a whole loaf of toast for dipping (in that dank yolk).

Some call dippy's soft fried or over easy, the yolk is runny.

Anyway, for unknown reason (hot pursuit?) Dillinger only ate 11 of the dippy's and left.

As a child in Gettysburg with Pennsylvania Dutch folks all around my brothers and sisters ate dippy's all the time but I couldn't stand them.

The very thought of the runny yolk made my guts churn.
