Every Trump malapropism and gaffe raises the invidious comparison: if he's so stupid then how about the people he beat?

One can always explain a loss to Napoleon.

But how does one justify a loss to a person regarded as a moron? One can lose to a genius without shame; it's harder to avoid mortification at being worsted by covfefe. And Hillary lost to covfefe. - - Absence of fact

Your Say

Some are so stupid and stooped under their burden of ignorance and malice that they no longer sense the smarting of their smartness.

Technically, it's "press covfefe."

I suspect it's Trumperanto for BS; thus,

Therefore, 'Press bullshlt'

Why does all this Trump hysteria put me in mind of the Drunken Master?

"covfefe" means "I live rent free in your head".

If I were Trump I would make sure there was some kind of misspelling or auto correct failure in each tweet. The media and alt-left would spend all their time laughing up their sleeves and "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" at each other and Trump could continue to pursue his agenda without excessive commentary because they are so busy pointing out his spelling errors.

GTW - Otherwise known as squashing piss ants while the elephants stomp the plantation to smithereens. (Lots of allegory in that.)

What's more, if the excuse then becomes (as it usually does) that it was Russian interference that helped Trump win, then by extension Hillary has already been beaten by the Russians.

Having already been beaten by the Russian hardly makes the case for Hillary as President.

"...how about the people he beat?"

Yes, he beat their asses like a rented mule.
He beat them so hard that now, 6-8 months later they are still crying.

The duration of their bawling is a direct ratio to the severity of the total ass kicking Trump gave to them.

It's not that Trump is such a yuge ass kicker but that the asses he kicked belonged to persons with all their feelings, their emotions, their feminine sides, all wrapped in pretty tissue paper, with a pinkish hue, and a big fluffy yellow bow. Trumps $3k bedroom slippers literally shredded their parade and their asses and they still haven't cried themselves to sleep yet.
