Welcome to the rise of fake law.
Just as fake news spreads ideologically motivated misinformation with a newsy veneer,
fake law brings us judicial posturing, virtue signaling, and opinionating masquerading as jurisprudence. Yeah it's all been out of control for some time now and getting worse with each passing day so the best anyone can do at this point is try to stay out of the way of the insanity.
Some would say anarchy but that means simply, the absence of gov't, which is not the case now as there is too much gov't.
No, the real answer is arrogancy on steroids. Everybody thinks they are more than they are and deserve more than they get just because. Shame is a thing of the past for most people and honesty has left the building hand in hand with the truth.

Gay judges mandating gay marriage and more judges deciding it is a state right and, with more pushing and shoving, deciding its a constitutional right that states must follow. A judge deciding some races have more rights than other races and some races can't possibly be racist and its constitutional. Judges mandating that the unborn are barren of rights and only women can determine if they should be born. We no longer have language, culture, or law in common...it's all a free for all.
