This is how rights can be lost, even in a nation with a constitution that protects all political speech,

no matter how controversial or offensive.
If enough people begin to believe that “hate speech” (itself a subjective and vague term) is illegal, it will, in a way, become outlawed, in a de facto sense, by the people themselves, who will come to fear violating a law that doesn’t exist. This is how you bypass the need for anti-speech laws; just convince everyone that we already have them. Keep repeating the mantra “hate speech is not protected speech,” keep purposely confusing political speech with speech that can be regulated (like pornography), and keep telling lies about the meaning and scope of the legal principle of “fighting words.” Strange Fruit (and Assorted Nuts)

Your Say

This gem from Ron Unz.

It is a real problem: American women are inoculated from birth with angry misandry insisting that men are dolts, loutish, irresponsible, and only want sex. (To which a response might be, “Uh…What else have you got?”)

"These fanatics have been convinced by leftist professors and politicians that “hate speech” is illegal..."
=====================

Bull fucking shit.
They know good and well that it is not illegal.
The reason they persist in their illegalities is that the law is not being enforced and they are not being held accountable for their illegal actions.

Enforce the dam law and you'll see these pisswillys vanish instantly.

" This is how rights can be lost, even in a nation with a constitution that protects all political speech,"

And you have an example of a lost right right there.

The constitution protects all speech, not just political. It was some appointed piece of filth judge who decided it did not protect commercial speech.
