The fact is things are going pretty well these days.

The Supreme Court is whole – and with a remarkable, honest and gentle addition;
Assad will think twice about using chemicals again; the economy is booming (yes, it has everything to do with confidence and deregulation); jobs are up, jobless claims are down; companies are reinvesting in the United States (it’s about encouragement); the healthcare challenges of a hastily passed and un-debated law are on the way to being addressed; illegal immigration is way down (no, nothing to do with a wall. Yes, everything to do with application of the rule of law). ISIS is being pushed out of Mosul. And the federal government’s thought war against half of its citizens is over. -- A House Divided | Joel D. Hirst's Blog

Your Say

"The fact is things are going pretty well these days.
The Supreme Court is whole..."
==============================

Where does this programmed mindset come from?
Are people so intellectually devoid that they must rely on others to gauge whether their life has value? That is a paradox. If you rely on other to define your life value your life is valueless.

There is absolutely nothing that supreme court or any political body can do to alter whether my life is *pretty good* or not, only I get to do that.

I stand here on the north side of this large forested hill and observe the distant echos of a world coming apart at every seam as new seams are being created and parting at the same time. This is not a divide, it is not a fracture, it is an explosion in slow motion.

And all this is why the folks who benefited from the previous administration are working so hard to destroy this one. Their comfy lives depend on it.

How you see things presages where you are going. I try to see a bit of heaven here.

Another barking mad neo-con pos. There is no evidence whatsoever that Assad used poison gas.
