And hey, who hasn’t noticed all the protest marches that ended with government troops opening fire?

Or the regime-ordered group executions, whereby accused people were beaten to death at the hands of vicious mobs?
Or the many brave martyrs shot trying to cross the border from Maine into Canada? Or the Stalinist-style surveillance system tracking our every move? Or the way you can be Tasered for referring to people as “gay” rather than “gender traitors”? Sorry: ‘Handmaid’s Tale’ tells us nothing about Trump’s America | New York Post

Your Say

Well, the Stalinist surveillance system is in place. It's called the "cell phone." It occurred to me the other day that Google knows where I worked--a grocery store--that day, and probably knows I was working on the refrigerated dough, and certainly knows who was working alongside me. They have mapped the inside of the store by watching where Android phones are moving, and where they don't move are fixtures.

They know all of that without even bothering to look at phone calls or emails or text messages. Now with those...I book a flight, and have the boarding pass emailed to me. Now Google is sending me alerts that my flight might be delayed, because Google knows which airplane Southwest is going to have at my gate at 5 p.m. That airplane is delayed taking off from Raleigh because the weather is bad in Atlanta, and the gate slot at Hartsfield is being pushed later. It's still eight hours before my flight is due to take off from Albuquerque, but Google knows.

Statists (left and right) are always embracing a history that never happened to justify their future atrocities.
