The proof of this is the fact that the GOP has no plans ready for the 2017 legislative session.

Both parties wanted to see Clinton win. The Republicans, at least the leadership, liked the setup under Obama.
They got to pose as rock-ribbed conservatives fighting Obama, without ever having to do anything. Democrats liked that Obama was just issuing executive orders and bypassing the parliamentary process. The Washington ecosystem was at equilibrium as long as everyone on both sides played their part.

The proof of this is the fact that the GOP has no plans ready for the 2017 legislative session. They have been talking for years about ObamaCare and now we know they never planned to do anything. The same is true of taxes, which is the one thing Republicans like doing. They have no plans for anything, not even something symbolic. They not only have no plans, they are still staggering around in shock, not sure what they should be doing. Suddenly nothing makes sense to the people inside the bubble and they are scared. "....without ever having to do anything."
=========================

Ever worked at a place where the owners son worked there?

He strutted around all day talkin' shit, acting like a bad ass, threatening people, showed up at 10am and left at 4:30 and did 2 hour lunches, and never did a goddam thing worthwhile. Couldn't be fired and one day would take over the whole thing.

He destroyed everyone's moral just by being there with his delinquent ass and Dad was none the wiser. Sonny boy could do no wrong and his paycheck was bigger than everyone else's.

Same basic parameters for your everyday average gov't employee from bottom to top. Do nothing worthwhile, collect huge income, never responsible for anything, and depressing for everyone that does work for a living in the private sector.

Off with their nutz, the whole lot of them!

It's been obvious for years that the national Republicans have deceived and will always betray the people that vote for them. There is only one Party, the Ruling Party, and you ain't in it, you dhimmi scum, just shut up and pay the jizya or we'll bust a cap in your ass, rape your wife, and sell her and your children into slavery.

They are shuffling the deck chairs, saying "See! This is incontrovertible evidence of the absolute confidence we have that the Ship of State is on the right course, we are making things better for you. We want you to enjoy this trip. Now all y'all take a seat and pleasure yourselves while we go over and perform some perfectly normal and periodic lifeboat drills. What's that you say, the ship is listing? Oh that, that's just normal water ballast transfers coupling with the seaway. The new Captain we're preparing will soon have everything back to rights. You'll see ... the old Captain, yes, the ruddy-haired one, yes him, well, we the Stewards, he didn't quite see things our way, so we had to replace him, declared him unfit we did, all proper and sea-lawyerly we are, and we locked him in a cabin in the second sub-level of steerage. He'll face a proper Board of Inquiry when we reach port. Now all y'all just relax and enjoy the ride. Oh yeah, one more thing, for you own benefit and safety and security we took the liberty of opening all your stateroom safes and stored your valuables with the Purser. What? Why are our pockets bulging? Oh, well, that's just the ship's procedures and tools and stuff. Now SIT DOWN! and let us go about our business ... Now really, all y'all must sit down and ... HELP! Security! The passengers are revolting!"

No question the entire federal establishment has been complicit in preserving and amplifying the status quo of central planning hegemony, which has been in the making for 150 years here in the U.S.

That said, are these all mythical? I see FB harpies freaking about them daily:

"The following bills have been introduced. Please share widely.
1. HR 861 Terminate the Environmental Protection Agency
2. HR 610 Vouchers for Public Education
3. HR 899 Terminate the Department of Education
4. HJR 69 Repeal Rule Protecting Wildlife
5. HR 370 Repeal Affordable Care Act
6. HR 354 Defund Planned Parenthood
7. HR 785 National Right to Work (this one ends unions)
8. HR 83 Mobilizing Against Sanctuary Cities Bill
9. HR 147 Criminalizing Abortion (“Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act”)
10. HR 808 Sanctions against Iran"

Frankly (in part due to the aforementioned complicity), all my fucks have been sniped from a distance and I haven't the slightest interest in looking them up.
