Hix Nix Starbuckx Pix

Hire 10,000 Refugees? Americans BFYTW.
The Backlash Against Starbucks Is Real, And It Isn't Going Away For comparison, McDonald’s customer happiness has averaged around 67-69% consistently. This means Starbucks went from 4-5 points better than McDonald’s to 3 points worse, which means poor comparisons for the company. Even worse, it’s the kind of data we see when consumers are in the process of making behavioral shifts that could have lasting impact on same store sales and revenue reports into the future.

Your Say

Starbuck has to be the most overrated fad ever. (Credentials: tried it once in the ATL airport circa 1990.) (One of the last times I flew.)

I took 2 sips and threw it in the can.
Unbelievably, they cannot make coffee.
I have no idea what they are selling, nor why anyone is buying it.
Must be what Bill said, fad.
Empty heads like to be seen carrying the cup.

The older I get, the easier it is for me to hold a grudge against a corporation. The list keeps getting longer and I am amused that I have no problem remembering who's on it. It's probably the only part of my memory that's improving. And it's so easy--I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. There's always somebody else willing to provide without sticking a finger in my eye.
