War In The Streets has for too long been a masturbatory fantasy for both Left and Right,
and I think it's bullshit. It definitely was closer in the latter '60s/early '70s than it is now.The Lefties are once again acting out the age-old Let's You and Him Fight scenario they've embraced since 1789; there are a fresh crop of "college-educated" dumbbells for cannon fodder, but their "rage" is a lot less convincing now that they've all been nurtured in their mommies' basements. The only ones with any apparent testosterone are on the other side and unimpressed with their tantrums. Come to think of it, that's probably why so many of us thought politics was bullshit 50 years ago. While those idiots were attending demonstrations we were busy taking advantage of the Free Love situation - with girls who were fun to be with. I have said for years that the downfall of the Left is their tendency to eat their @#%^ (excrement).
This occurred to me sometime in the early 2000's while watching TV. One day I saw television journalists interviewing other television journalists and I realized that was really effed up. I mean, seriously, what is the logical progression of one local newspaper journalist interviewing a journalist from another local newspaper on The Current Event.
This has been going on for years and nobody sees it. The problem is that the Left is uniquely susceptible to feeding on their own excreted @#$$%.
I predicted Trump would win as soon as he entered the race. My prediction was based upon two elements. First, for the Right, the Leftist media has become bullies and Americans hates nothing worse than a bully ... thus, Trump the Bully was "our" bully. Second, for the Left, the Media had become their "god" and they completely and utterly consumed all Leftist excrement excreted by the MSM.
On that second point ... In the old Walter Cronkite days, the Left excreted excrement for consumption by the Right and the post War gobbled it up. However, as the WWII and Baby Boomer generations died (and continue to die) off, the Right has found their alternative sources. In the meantime the Left continued to voraciously gobble up the excrement excreted by Leftist media. It was just a matter of time before they drowned in their own excrement, especially when flyover country was presented with an alternative.
The Left has not learned yet that flyover country doesn't love Trump as much as Trump loves himself. Those of us in flyover country just really loathe the Leftist media and especially the fact that they refuse to feed us any semblance of Truth.
This trend will continue until a) the Left learns how to make Truth their friend, or b) the Left completely dies electorally from consuming their own excrement.
