Russian Tupolev Tu-144. Plagued by bad luck from poor areo-design, it made 55 passenger transports and then was converted to cargo where it made 102 flights.

Yep, Concordeski. A poorly thought-out copycat design that was rushed into service just so the Commies could say they had the first SST. Wonder how many rubles they flushed down the toilet with this white elephant (not that it mattered in a "socialist workers' paradise").
