In 1905, 11-year-old Frank Eppersonfrom San Francisco, California, accidentally invented the Popsicle.
He mixed soda powder and water with a wooden stirring stick but somehow forgot about his drink and left it on the porch. When he woke up the next morning andreturned to the porch his drink was frozen with the wooden stir stick stuck in the frozen liquid. He ran the glass under hot water and licked the frozen treat off the wooden stir stick. He had invented a new treat and named it Epsicle. - - Vintage News

In 1905, 11-year-old Frank Eppersonfrom San Francisco, California, accidentally invented the Popsicle. He had invented a new treat and named it Epsicle. Unfortunatly it took Frank 19 years to apply for a patent his dad being a little quicker. Today, we don't call them "Epsicles".
