No matter how OBVIOUS the stupidity, you CANNOT use it as an example to change minds. This problem with the dam is being taken to be the result of global warming, and not the result of a failure to spend wisely.

Global warming? That's rich. I immediately had the same response about this. 2 stimulus packages that we know were crony payoffs, and now we'll watch our crumbling infrastructure and look to mom and pop America to pay. ...aaaaaand we'll see that go to waste, as well. Welcome to Soviet America. Jeez. Is Trump more like Gorbachev than Reagan? Did he come in to rescue America, or reform the new Soviet state?

I seem to recall the Yangtze being dammed by the efforts of 10's of thousands of peasant laborers;
which seems like a good use to put the object darlings of sanctuary cities to.
