Just for the fun of it, look up faithless electors of my home state, Washington. 4 broke ranks to vote for either Colin Powell, or else some Dakota Indian activist, instead of Hillary.

That was an inspired appointment, because he now has direct access to the Senate leadership, whose support is critical if he wants to get legislation passed.
