Diversity Is Over, Amerika -

The upheaval of 2016 showed us a clear pattern:
the ideals of the past seven decades, finally put into practice, ended in such disaster that people have thrown out those ideas entirely. Globalism is dead. Political correctness is dead. And the vanguard of both, diversity, is also over. 2017 will be a time of great upheaval as the many who are riding the inertia of the past slowly come to realize that they are backing the wrong horse. The sea change has occurred, and we are just negotiating its terms now.Woodpile Report

Your Say

"...negotiating its terms..."
===============

Uh, no.
There will be no negotiating of ridiculousness.
And I never went along with any of that diversity, multiculturalism nonsense either.

When you step back, way back, and observe the thick fakeness that encases just about everything in this country you start to wonder, "When all the fakeness is finally gone, what the hell is left?"

Core values, that's what.

Fake attitudes, fake news, fake people, fake ass gov't, fake money, hell none of this shit is real.

And none of it exists in MY everyday reality.

To me, it only exists in this little box I'm looking at right now.

Hit the little button down there in the right bottom corner and POOF it all goes away and there's nothing left but the cold winter wind and the snow on the ground and the blue flames in the front of my Procom propane wall heater and that steaming hot cup of mud sitting on my desk.

And that giant bowl of amazing chocolate covered carmel corn the neighbor brought over this morning. nom nom nom

That deplorable diversity will be over when human nature is over. The meanie genie is out of the bottle and the bottle is broken. Unjustified power, greed, activist ignorance, clash of principles (religion, sex orientation, distribution of abilities and wealth, ...), stupidity, and misused meanings of language will continue.
In 20 years we will contend with a new combination of crap. Until then we have Islam, China, Russia, byAI, robotics, and our effete education system to engage with successfully.
Resolved: To make less serious mistakes than we've made in the past.

I rarely disagree with Comrade Woodpile, but when I do, I do it while drinking corona.

Globalism is not dead, it is just starting.

Globalism has created real wealth on an unprecedented scale anywhere, anywhen.

A few groups of workers are suffering. We must, and will look after them. After all, we are not lefty, self centered arseholes.

Beyond that, trade delivers gigantic, enormous, yuuuuge, benefits.

"A few groups of workers are suffering. We must, and will look after them."

That's kind of a funny coincidence there, Fred, some of us were thinking of "looking after" you.

"Globalism" in the current political sense means "no borders". Fred Z is using it in the economic sense.

Not same-same.

Soros is paying for 'no borders', so the world's swill can flood in here and live off American workers/taxpayers.

But the voters Trumped Soros...

...Bye George.
