Can't "Build the Wall"? Wanna bet?

Since Turkish troops entered Syria in August the Turks have carried out some key tasks that get little media attention.
The most obvious of these is increased border security with Syria and Iraq. Since August Turkey has built 89 new military outposts along the Syrian and Iraqi border. Most of those new outposts (and all of the 157 new ones in 2017) were along the 900 kilometers long Syrian frontier. At the same time the Turks are building a concrete wall along 91 percent of the Syrian border and that is about 40 percent done.Syria: Iran And Russia Count Their Winnings

Your Say

If that wall is not reinforced by men with guns then the invaders will go right through it.

If, however, you have men with guns preventing the invaders from going through the wall, the wall isn't even necessary, just the men with guns.

Don't waste money building a wall, spend it on decent earnings for the men with guns, and don't even think about handicapping the whole thing by making the men with guns gov't employees.

Poland could have solved the immervasion problem in a month by simply painting a line and shooting any person who crossed it.

Which side of that wall would you rather be on, the one which could (and would) annihilate any aggressors, or those begging for entry.

Ghost, those individuals must be government employees, either in uniform or sworn. Otherwise they have no legal protection for working within the law.

As for u.k, I shall be behind the weapon thank you, not in front of it.

One builds a wall high enough so that those trying to cross, cannot see where the shooters are for two reasons: First it makes it more of a gamble to cross at any chosen point and second, you don't need as many shooters. And with a drone scout, you have the good chance of spotting the coyote and nailing him. That will take the fun out of the job.
