"The silly children's party is over."

The US is STILL the best place on the planet to live.
The opportunity for opportunity's is far greater than anywhere else in world history.

And it should be treated as such.

Current, and recent, politicians and their employed minions, act like entry to the US is the equivalent to cheap plastic shopping bags, given away with no regard to any and all.

It is not their's to give.

There should be a steep entry fee, held in escrow, and very heavy restrictions on all that move here permanently, for a period of no less than 10 years.

Any and all infractions to the restrictions results in forfeiture of the entry fee and immediate, within 30 days maximum, expulsion to their original country, and a stern warning to never try to enter again.

The existing citizens of the US should not be hindered in any way by the rules set forth pertaining to immigration nor the immigrants themselves.

If the US cannot make a profit from immigration through human currency then immigration should not exist.

We do not need immigrants nor shall we bear their burden. We already have more than enough diversity and multiculturalism to last 100 lifetimes.

It is past time for all adult US citizens to grow up and start behaving as adults, especially the rule makers.

Your Say

An excellent foundational idea as long as pure and realistic enforcement is implemented. Nonetheless: Build the Damned Wall.

The silly children however, don't yet understand that their party is over. They think that if their tantrums are loud enough and continue long enough, and if they make the right threats, their party will continue. Even though some of them are friends and family members, I'm still laughing at them.

It's getting harder though, to try and think that except for their politics they are otherwise intelligent people. I've been reading their Facebook rants, and listening to their spoken fears of a nuclear Trumpocalypse. Sadness is brewing under the laughter as I'm losing respect for them.

@ Harry, that is how it worked when the silly children were under the caring care of their uncaring silly parents but out here in reality real people get real tired of it real quick.

I expect in another month or so, maybe sooner, if they keep it up you'll see some serious repercussions.

And, silly children get cold in the winter and go home and cry. They have no staying power.

Let the political illiterati bawl. They are seeking attention for their psychic boo-boos.
The Wrongs will get it right, or at least wilt.
Observe and keep their behaviour disciplined from a safe distance.

My wife came over from the Philippines, legally. Most of what Ghost proposes is reasonable and also required for those who go through the immigration process LEGALLY. One must prove they are physically healthy,do not have a criminal record in their place of origin, have an education, industry skills or something that makes certain that the applicant will not be a burden on the US. YOU MUST SPEAK ENGLISH! It also put me on the hook in case we split, so that I would be financially required to support her. I have no idea why so many illegals and liberals want to wave a magic wand and make all those who broke the law, American citizens, other than for their probable voting tendencies. To all the illegals, I say, GET IN LINE. Yes, the BACK of the line and NO, most of you will not qualify.
