I originally thought that they saw what she was, but didn't care. I could understand, and even accept that. But in the last days before the election it seemed like there were many on the left who were truly blind to it all -- who thought she was unfairly, misogynisticly persecuted. These were the ones who guzzled freely of the Flavor Aid, and are sobbing most deeply today. If they, in some sense, deserve pity, I can't manage to summon it up.
