It's Probably Nothing:

While the press was focused on the Hillary-Trump debate, Iranian-backed rebels fired two missiles at the USS Mason off Yemen....
It is one of several scenes of an entire drama, almost an parallel universe which exists outside the 2016 spectacle which has captured the American public's imagination. Events epochal to those whom they directly concern and important by any objective standard are foreshortened by false perspective into tiny insignificant occurrences happening long ago and far away. The striking thing is how this administration is bequeathing a comprehensive catastrophe to the next president almost without anyone, least of all the semi-retired chief executive, paying more than cursory attention. - - | PJ Media

In Syria, the (Sunni) House of Saud is attacking the Shiite Syrian government, directly and through numerous proxies, including "rebels".

Syria counts Iran as ally.

In Yemen, the Sunni House of Saud is attacking the so-called rebels, who happen to be Shiite. The Yemeni government is Sunni.

Now, does it even begin to make sense that beleaguered "rebels" would attack a US naval vessel?

Or, is it more likely that this is propaganda tuh git murkans riled up?

Oh yes, Iran is Shiite.

This sunni/shia conflict has been going on for about 1400 years.

It is a conflict currently being used to advance globalism.
