[Bumped] If tomorrow a war were to break out between the US and Russia, it is guaranteed that the US would be obliterated.

At a minimum, there would no longer be an electric grid, no Internet, no oil and gas pipelines, no interstate highway system, no air transportation or GPS-based navigation.
Financial centers would lie in ruins. Government at every level would cease to function. US armed forces, stationed all around the globe, would no longer be resupplied. At a maximum, the entire landmass of the US would be covered by a layer of radioactive ash. We tell you this not to be alarmist, but because, based on everything we know, we are ourselves alarmed. If attacked, Russia will not back down; she will retaliate, and she will utterly annihilate the United States. A Russian warning | The Vineyard of the Saker

Your Say

The USA would be destroyed but it would of course be the end of Russia too. Trump has stated he believes he can work well with Putin.

Mutually Assured Destruction doesn't need so many words to explain.

I am not sure why the US is antagonistic to Russia. When they were the Soviet Union with a stated goal to destroy the US and export communism, yeah sure. But now they want to be a kleptocracy have their sphere of influence, what do I care what they do in Ukraine?
They are far, far less aggressive to the US proper or direct US interests than China (we should be more concerned with Taiwan, Japan and S. Korea that anything in East Europe).

Let West Europe fend for themselves and leave Russia be. Focus on China where the real threat to our interest lies.

But, hey, we can't even defend our southern border.

What a bunch of bullish#t! They lost me at how many Russians had died at the hands of foreign invaders ... Thank g#d Stalin saved them all the rest, right?

The last thing we American's will tolerate in this current environment is foreigners like "Sakers" trying to bully us with this propaganda bullsh#t. We deal with enough bullying internally from our own PC crowd. This argument is so f@#king passé, it does nothing more than prove the writers are shills for old Russian commies.

Will surviving cockroaches devolve to humans?

There is an old saying in America that perfectly fits this article, Russian friends. Kiss my ass.

I saw how mobs of ethnic Russians in Ukraine rioted at municipal buildings-police and city government headquarters-and beat the Ukrainians bloody. The whole thing was transparent to me. These tactics are straight out of your special forces manuals, and only idiots were fooled by the Little Green Men who accompanied these insurgents.

ESAD. Look that one up, too.

And this is all the fault of the neoconservatives? I had to check the date on this article. Are they unaware that there's been a Democrat government in the US all during this period of increasing US-Russia tensions? The neoconservatives haven't been a thing for 7 years. Unless they just mean "Jews", which a quick glance at the comments would substantiate.

Posted by: Dr. Mabuse at June 9, 2016 6:28 AM

Neocons went to the Maidan Square and caused the whole war. CIA and darker agents, you know.

Then, the Russians benefited entirely by taking a quarter of the Ukraine and all of the Crimea. Because: the whole lot of them are in the same tank together. Illuminati. Bilderberg. Masons. Scare. Scare. Scare.

Jews all of them-hooked noses and money running like snot from the nostrils.

sarc/off. Now you know why I've left the GOPe. Bitches.

Has the old hegemon given up its quest to control the rim of the Eurasian continent thereby controlling the heartland of the world's largest landmass and thus the destiny of the world? I doubt it. Who should stop or at least frustrate them? France? Not so Great Britain? They might be a kleptocracy and we share that but we are a kakistocracy, too, and that likely means we lose as a country but never, ever give up on the indomitable essence of the American people.

I don't think Russia has any desire to grab Western Europe. what would Putin get? Right A huge bunch of Muslims. Methinks he has enough of his own.

Return to the thread:

It is "Mutually Assured Destruction". Welcome back to the Cold War. Stop acting as if Russia annihilating the USA is new - it was old before I was born.

Which goes along with being in Kipling's World.

A bit of advice. Shave you ass. You don't want to kiss something that hairy when you're saying good-bye.

It would make sense to me if the US, Russia, Europe and China would get together, settle their differences and unite toward a goal of eradicating islam in every form and fashion and wherever it is found on the globe. Just do it and get that nasty little matter out of the way.

It would be a mess for awhile but long term the results of the purge would be satisfying and visible from the standpoint of reducing world population, opening energy reserves that could be jointly managed, eradicating terror and opening previously occupied muslim shitholes to development and expansion.

Course, no one is gonna do it but it does sound interesting.
