Orlando shooting: Break-in of Omar Mateen's home investigated | Inside the condominium where Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen lived shows an apparently normal family home, with a young child’s presence. The carpeted living room has a Minions balloon, plants, dumbell weights and what appears to be drawings by a child hanging on the wall. Normal..... Just normal looking, kind of like when you go to the zoo and you're standing on the other side of a large pane of glass, looking into the den of a 17' long hungry anaconda.
His home is a lovely looking place, a few logs lying on sand and gravel, some leafy ferns and other tropical vegetation and a pretty little pool with water that flows in and out, just like a jungle stream. It's warm and steamy in his little place in the world but you cannot feel the heat and as hard as you look and as long as you stare, you just can't find the reptile.
Not to worry.....he sees you.
