This is a Compaq LTE 5280 laptop from the early 1990s, running a bespoke CA card.
In 2016, McLaren Automotive—one of the most high-tech car and technology companies on the planet—still uses it and its DOS-based software to service the remaining hundred McLaren F1s out there, each valued at $10 million or more. - - Jalopnik

Your Say

Looks like a Packard Bell 486SX I bought in 1992 at Office Max for $1800.

Traded it in 6 months later on a desktop tower IBM clone 486DX2 100 with 512mb RAM and a 40mb HD, 2x CD player and a 56k modem, 3.5" floppy and 5.5" floppy. And a 15" color monitor. Man, I was flyin! I was online with compuserve and aol in them days.

Originally got online with compuserve in 1988 with a 286 and a 14.4k modem. So yeah, going on 30 years online. Been using computers since 1981.
