Why would a black or mulatto be proud of his/her association with what by statistics is the largest criminal element in Amerika? Oh, that IS the reason. It has been made too easy to survive as versus starve to death in this once great nation.

President Lincoln's plan for his second term was to ship all former slaves back to Liberia. "Forty acres and a mule" was the promise. The former slaves were overwhelmingly in support of that plan.

Then Lincoln was assassinated, the drunkard Johnson became President, and he never followed through. Damn!
