"They are unaware of the disaster that godlessness in the West has led to."

A Note to Conservatives Who Are Secular Dennis Prager The vast majority of leading conservative writers, just like their liberal colleagues, have a secular outlook on life. With few exceptions, the conservative political and intellectual worlds are oblivious to the consequences of secularism. They are unaware of the disaster that godlessness in the West has led to.

Your Say

Another bonehead searching, grasping really, for some silly notion why.

Some heed a place where the sky is a different color.

Since gohstniper was so shallow, I decided to think deeper.

It paid off.

The truth is people see secularism work.

It works.

It's working.

This is undeniable.

What our task is, as Catholic myself although not practicing and ultra-lapsed mega-sadly, is allowing others the understanding of our position, why and how the work came to be; 'Twas not based on secular ideas of the Earth and universe and god. It is based upon God.

Not by any stretch did secular "Science" create America or our abilities. In fact, it is idiotic to assume it possibly could have given the history of the previous century. How racist do you have to be to assume China or India shouldn't have nuked America circa 1942?

What science didn't Germany do? The answer to that lies within a culture that kicked out the very spontaneity needed to be science, aka Manhatten Project, in the land of the God fearing sovereign American.

Perhaps the greatest thing about women is their unattainable ethos.

God plays dice by allowing the existence of unbelief. Not amusement, evolution my dear boy.

The author would be well advised to read Voltaire. Many of the founders of our nation did so.

The Constitution was meant for a moral and religious people...Adams. I'm convinced that the farther we move from being moral and religious people the more laws, rules and regulations that will be needed in order to govern the country and maintain a small semblance of order. We begin looking to dodge morality like a tax lawyer looking to dodge taxes...any loophole will suffice.

Secularism works? Name a single secular country that doesn't have a sub-replacement birth rate. Denver Window and other secular Prince Prosperos are in for a rude awakening...

@Mike, I don't speak for a whole country and neither do you, I only speak for me.

What difference, at this point, does it make? We're not about to have another Great Awakening, even if we tried, but I suppose it still needed to be said.
