I know this wasn't your point, but I have indeed noticed that it is exclusive to one type of person:
Every single control freak I have ever met is a leftie, without exception. If the Moslems ever enter the 20th century they'll all become Democrats.

I read "The River War" last summer. It's a quick read. In addition to being a rousing tale of military adventure back when Winston was a lad, it makes you realize that Sudan was just as messed up 100 years as it is today.

We keep dicking around in places where we have no reason to be.If you try to take a dump in someone else's back yard, I'm fairly sure the owner will in some manner abuse you.
What we need to do is merely draw a line in the sand, make that line radioactive, and kill any that transgress sais line. Treat them like the "Walking Dead" for they are.

Those lines already exist and are called borders.
The politicians have no business crossing the borders of other countries and stirring up shit.
Fuck all that treaty and alliances shit.
The politicians have no money for that sort of thing anyway.
Maybe one day a person with nuts and logic and morality will take over and run this country the right way, but I doubt it.
