“A killer-diller coat with a drape shape, reet pleats and shoulders padded like a lunatic’s cell”.

Zoot-Suit-Trousers-1940s-11.jpg

In the 1940s and 50s, zoot suits were worn by Mexican-American hipsters who embraced the flamboyant oversized style of dress
to express their desire for freedom from discrimination and racism as an underclass. The zoot suiters became a signifier for a radicalised other and were quickly considered un-American. It was the suit that caused a series of youth riots to break out in Los Angeles and was banned for the duration of WWII. The Dandy Suit that America Banned and Caused a Riot | Messy Nessy Chic

The article perfectly demonstrates the vicious and violent nature of the State and its armed thugs.

"...to express their desire for freedom from discrimination and racism as an underclass."

What a crock of shit. They wore the Zoot Suit because it was cool. The writer, like every other cultural Marxist, can't see ANYTHING that doesn't have to do with race, class, and evil white people oppressing poor downtrodden minorities.

JWM - good comment.
You can frame almost anything in race, class, whatever if you try. Slow line at the store? It's because that @%$* is too stupid to scan items. Cut off in traffic? That !)%$ was just doing that because I'm not of his tribe. You get the idea. Just for fun, after reading some comments in the local newspaper, I decided to filter my day through such prisms. I was amazed how I could explain almost everything that happened, negative or positive, could be explained based on economic status, race, class, and so forth.
