U.S. military could topple like Jenga blocks

“If the Obama administration continues to remove resources from the Jenga block tower’s base, while loading burdens of social engineering on the top, the structure will become increasingly unstable and eventually fall,” contends a new report from the Center for Military Readiness, referring to the block-stacking game. Good Point. Bad analogy.

If the military - its soldiers - are anything, they are resilient. But the weakening pointed out is a fair analysis. All of this, and low morale, makes the case for defeatism.

Looks like I may have to stand the barricades, myself. I always did think the army went to hell the day after I got out.

If they closed down the occupation of half the globe- why are they still occupying Germany, Italy, Japan etc?- 1000 bases in 130 countries, perhaps they could defend the borders of the US.

Nope.
It was already halfway to hell when I got out in June 1978.
