They hate you because of who you are, not what you do.

You can vote democratic, march in civil rights protests, bring Muslim jihadis into your living room and be feminist all you want. It will not save you. They want to destroy you and take what you have, even though it will not last for them because they cannot keep it alive. They are not reasonable. They are emotional. Resentment is determined by relative position

Your Say

But first, they hate themselves. They know that no matter how hard they try they simply do not have the intellectual horsepower to ever rise to your level. You are their insurmountable goal, and that galls them to no end. Thus, their only venue is revenge. They can't beat you with their brains so they will try to beat you with their fists. Or sticks or knives, or illegal guns.

You on the other hand can't see what you have done wrong for in your mind you have not. You've given them your money, you've given them a place at your table, you've given them even more money, you've lied for them, you've done everything you can think of to bring them up to your level, and all along the way they have failed your expectations of them. And on top of that, in spite of all you've done they hate you more than before.

As more and more is given to them, more and more they sink lower and lower into the gutter. The more you give the lower they get. The solution then, seems simple doesn't it? But people people continue to do the same stupid thing over and over incapable of accepting the reality of it all. Like the guy addicted to the one armed bandit they think if I just keep trying one day I will be successful, I will win. It's only when the guy realized the bandit has stolen everything that he goes home if he still has one.
