Thinking in terms of "ooh pretty" rather than ownership, liberty, and the constitution.

when I posted this image on Facebook, several people responded positively: I like parks! What's wrong with that?
Which was just jaw dropping to me. I was simply astounded that nobody seemed to understand that the federal government owning more than 50% of 12 of the biggest states in the union was a bad thing. They thought it was just wonderful! Word Around the Net: NOT YOURS TO TAKE

Your Say

“All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state." By "state," this means the one all seeing, all knowing central gubmint. Like Mussolini and Hitler. That was fun! Lots of bombs and death. Whole fantasy parks of death. Populations dwelling in caves, grottos and ghettos, eating cats and rats to survive. Churches burnt to the ground with the congregation inside. Skin for lampshades. Teeth for necklaces.

The US has owned so much Western land for so long now, I doubt that we'll be reconciling the problem anytime soon. Stand offs notwithstanding, I'd prefer to see some ballsy leadership leading from the front, saying property is sacrosanct to the American people.

Sacrosanct my ass! When SCOTUS ruled on Kelo as they did that was a 16d nail in the coffin lid of property rights.

We have one Justice looking to Europe for guidance for resolving Constitutional questions. Another one so decrepit that she can't stay awake for more than 15 minutes at a time.

With that bunch, we're one vote away from having the Constitution scrapped. Obama cannot be allowed to name a Justice to any court much less SCOTUS.

American Lands Council

There is a fight going on and few Amerikans know or even care. The typical Amerikan is a sheeple and coward.

I should have said "burned to the ground." Good thing I don't write for a living.

Property is the bedrock of our rights. BTW, our rights to buy and sell firearms is taking a hit under Obammy. I recall, but did not participate in, some pretty great civil disobedience actions in Olympia. One where gun owners openly traded and sold guns as a reaction to the WA law that is a forerunner to this EO.
