Enough about Megyn Kelly, whose metastasizing ego

megankelly.jpg

is starting to make her resemble a cable news version of the ambitious Eve Harrington in Joseph L. Mankiewicz's All About Eve. When Kelly wrapped her show Wednesday night, winking at the audience and assuring us that they (the debate panel) would be asking "tough questions" of the candidates, I wondered to what end? "Tough," usually meaning "trick,"questions may make for entertaining sound bites, but do they really tell us anything at all about how someone would fare or act as president? Not often. Your Say

For a while I've had the impression that Roger has been seduced by the glamor, glitz, and showmanship of the Trump phenomenon. I suppose that is one of the dangers of being in the business.

Megyn Kelly is smarter than Vanderleuen, Simon, and Trump. Megyn Kelly is more beautiful than Vanderleuen, Simon, and Trump. Megyn Kelly would be a far better president than Vanderleuen, Simon, or Trump.

That's not what I thought about Megyn when she left my bed this morning begging for more.

Yes, it was a long litany of "Gerard, Gerard, let me have more more more of your blistering cultural and political analysis!"

Fat Man's standards are in the gutter. Beautiful? Please. Wore out ol' hor. with blood coming out....everywhere!

Look at Fat Man's argument.
All of his arguments are the same, based from a pussy's perspective. He has no nuts and never has, born without em.

There is a time limit to this nonsense.

Kelly works for Murdoch. She walks that line or she's out the door. Now she might like to dance that thin line or maybe not. She has no choice if she wants to collect another paycheck.

A huge violation of ethics is taking place at Fox; Baier, Stirewalt, Kurtz, Wallace, and Kelly never disclosed that Brooke Sammon is the daughter of Fox News executive Bill Sammon. who is she? Only that she has worked for Rubio for years and is second in command to Rubio communications chief Alex Conant.

Trump beat them at their game, one rigged to give him several 'gotchas' all night long.

Find all this here.
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/01/28/trump-campaign-manager-exposes-that-fox-news-executive-in-charge-of-debates-has-daughter-working-for-marco-rubio/
"The network did not disclose this conflict of interest to anyone–most importantly, the 24 million people who watched that first debate this summer. It’s unclear why the network has hidden this detail. Other GOP presidential campaigns have been whispering about pro-Rubio bias at Fox, but none have been willing to publicly hammer the network, except for Trump."

On the other hand,

Trump's worthwhile positions: illegal immigration control and reversal, trade agreements, Iran nuke deal?.

As suggested by someone else, will we make a different wrong mistake again? Rap your mind around that question.

This world is divided into two classes of people. Those that can live, function without a government and those that cannot.

I would love to be able to decapitate governments as soon as they form, sort of like kicking over anthills. No sooner than it is reformed, kick it again. And again.

Those that cannot live without a governmental structure probably would become catatonic in short order and may die off. at least one could hope.

The bright side is the balance of mankind lives, works and resolves life's triumphs and trials in quick order in a rather polite society.

@veedub, I agree.
Last night was watching an old Gunsmoke show where a pastor came to Dodge City and was summonsing citizens to sigh a petition to outlaw drinking in Dodge. He has a history of doing this all across the west. See, the petition system was set up in his favor, if no one signs to KEEP drinking legal, then all the votes AGAINST it will tallied. IOW, participation was mandatory if you were in favor of drinking. Kitty Russell summoned her forces to counter the petition and basically staved off the onslaught temporarily which may return in the future.

I prefer your method, kicking down anthills.
If that pastor had been found outside the town limits with his head blowed completely off and his charred remains smoldering it would have sent a stark, vivid warning to all others contemplating such a thing. They could have erected an obelisk at the site stating something like, "Here lies the last tyrant".

Sexy? Well, sorta' I guess. Pic on the left looks like she's trying way too hard. Pic on the right looks like she's suffering from an embarrassing itch.
