Same people who profess the virtue of "Free Range" Chicken are also those who say humans should live in high density cities

Cities: cram too many people into a space and force them to “tolerate” each other, making all of them give up on life. It is slow spirit-death every day. - - Stranded in Hell

Your Say

You may find a corrective to your complaints and whining about democracy and egomania by marinating yourself in the principles and practices promoted in our Declaration of Independence. We didn't defeat the British by simply bitching and moaning.
If you really care you'll find like-minded people to organize and work with for the change you desire.

If your priorities lead you to live in the city and you don't like it there, then choose to change your priorities.

"....find like-minded people to organize and work with for the change you desire."

There's that word *people* again.
And *organize*.
Ditto *like-minded*.

Put all 3 together and what do you have?
Democracy - the plan based in failure.

"Change you desire" is difficult on an individual level, doubly so when 2 people are involved, almost impossible at larger scales.
========================

The best you can do in this lifetime is to live your life the best that you can, harm no one, help as many as possible, and try to not let the mindless bullshit everywhere get in your way.

If you can manage to do this you are doing very well and the world entire will be that much better off.

It starts with you.

Onward.

The Stalinists, Nazis, Islamists, American far-Leftists organized to execute their plans and achieve their goals. Our own 1776 revolutionaries also organized against the mighty British.
What's the goal being aimed for and what are the rules of engagement?
Democracy is only as good as its citizenry.
Teach your children well.

Huh. That guy sounded like the opening reasoning to begin a Reich of some sort. Scary.
I agree with ghostsniper.

Democracy - another name for mob rule.

Remember Remus's suggestion: avoid crowds
