Your Say

There's a Scottish sheep herder joke in there somewhere.

I dunno about the sheep, Syd; my uncle Louie Lozko, we all called him "Letsgo" Lozko, he was the King of Bantam Chickens.

He told me that one of the virtues of raising bantams was the high moral standards of the breeders. Most business deals were done on the strength of a handshake.

The chickens all got along together quite well, there being no rivalry or animosity within the flocks. As a Charter member of the Cook County Bantam Chicken Association uncle Letsgo was able to unite the independent ranchers into a unified group.

Lemme tell ya, that wine glass incident would not have occurred with the CCBCA because alcoholic beverages were forbidden, except for the beer. Often times the ranchers would feed the chickens some beer and bet on how long they could still stand up.

If anyone is interested I can provide the address of the Bantam Chicken Museum and Hall of Fame.

Just provide the address of the beer supplier.
