The breastplate of 19 23 years old cuirassier Antoine Fraveau, struck and killed by a canonball. He was serving Napoleon Bonaparte at the Battle of Waterloo.

In '93 all Bonaparte's artifacts were in one place in Memphis Tennessee. This was one of them. This is what I have from the program book:

It's Francois-Antoine Fauveau (1792-1815).
A former butter dealer who was exceptionally tall for the period at 5'9"

The dimensions of the plate were H: 15 x L: 13.5 x W: 11.375"
