Small Towns on Google Street View

I don’t go looking for places that look abandoned, but I keep finding them. A fascinating project from LILEKS (James)

Your Say

My SIL is a mortgage lender in SW FLA and tells me about all the foreclosures that are STILL going on. Where are all of them going to?

Mortgage payments are normally lower than rent payments (tax write-off), so if they can't pay their mortgage how are they going to pay the rent?

If they were smart they'd pay $50 ransom for a business license and write the whole thing off as a business expense.

You dare call that cheating?
Clue: You can't cheat a thief, but you can kick him in the ballz. HARD!

OMG I'm hooked. Didn't see SC represented so I did my own and found Mullins, SC to be the land that time forgot. The entire Main Street is a delight. Building after building... nothing but a target-rich environment.

Mullins, hot and humid in the summer, cold and damp in the winter and for amusement everybody goes to Dillon or Cheraw. No thanks, I'll stay in the upstate, far upstate above the thermal zone.
