Nothing but bastards all the way down...

The Moynihan Report at 50:
“The fundamental problem … is that of family structure. The evidence—not final but powerfully persuasive—is that the Negro family in the urban ghettos is crumbling.” On the day his report was released, about one quarter of black kids were living only with their mothers. Moynihan called this a crisis, as indeed it was, but 50 years on between 70 and 75 percent of all black Americans are now born out of wedlock, a tripling of the trend Moynihan had spotted. More than half of Hispanic children are also born out of wedlock today, and 29 percent of white babies.

When you have no real family, the state becomes your surrogate family. I'm sure Cloward, Piven, Alinsky, et al, would approve...

Moynihan was a classic big-government liberal who had the poor taste to tell the truth, and well-documented truth at that, in his famous report, and in his public congressional testimony that followed. As is their wont, other libs basically ostracized him for that, and never really forgave him. But the problem he described in such detail has only worsened over time.

Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Sam Nunn, Joe Lieberman.....Theoretically impossible for them to be decision makers in the Democratic party today. Yet the mainstream media wants to convince me that its the Republican party that has been taken over by the fringes.

@waltj: "But the problem he described in such detail has only worsened over time."

Can you name one gov't created problem that hasn't?

Back in the late 60's in grad school, half the faculty were conservatives (old style) and half commie shit heads (but I repeat myself).

The Moynihan Report crystallized the lines even more than Vietnam. Fist fights broke out.

One conservative prof (who was abut 6' 3") was denigrated in pubic by a couple of leftist grad students, who between joints went on to burn the ROTC building. He busted into their office and beat the living shit out of them. One of them had written a book called Tea Room Trade, about gayitude in park restrooms. The prof didn't much go for that, either. After the aforementioned shit kicking, he told his own grad student who was standing by, "Finish them off."

When he was threatened with being fired, he swore that he'd let the newspapers know the names of all the butt pirates in the dept. All leftists.

Forget dropping the soap in the shower. You couldn't drop the soap in the halls when these guys were around.

They made him distinguished professor of social theory. Gave him his own wing of the building. Swear to G-d!

Pretty much proves what I've said all along. Most negros are nothing more than black bastards. Bastards having more bastards.....all of whom want reparations.
