Awwww......
Phoebe and Tillie had been missing for 5 days and VIPP assumed that both dogs were either stuck in a building or over a slope. With the word getting out to the community, they finally received a phone call from someone who claimed they’d seen a ‘reddish’ dog matching Tillie’s description. This dog has quickly come up to the person’s property but then just as quickly headed back to a ravine. When VIPP got word of this, they headed out to the property and found something they really weren’t expecting. They did find Tillie! But they found her on the edge of a cistern, looking over her BFF Phoebe who had been unable to move from the cistern for an entire week.

This is why I cringe whenever I see someone write that so-and-so should not be "elected dogcatcher". Dogs are our faithful friends, and most politicians are not worthy of knowing them, much less controlling their fate.
I say "most politicians" because I will grudgingly admit that there might be a few conservatives who would treat our little buddies with love and respect. That's as far as I will go. If you are a RINO or a Democrat, they and I join in lifting our hind leg to you.

Yeah, and she coulda just chewed a couple trees off at the trunk and made a ladder.
I'm thinking about getting another one to keep the one I have company. First time I've had only one dog in a long time. They's better'n most people.

Agreed, they are better than most people, and they can be trained, unlike most people.
