Trump is a Corrective to American Culture’s Pathologies

Many would probably question why, of all people, a decadent, rude, and pompous billionaire should be trusted to meddle with American culture? I
think it comes down to a perception that America has already drowned in a post-modernist nightmare of moral relativism, from which extreme political correctness and protest culture stem. Trump, on the other hand, is all absolutes. Everything he says, accurate or not, is stated in absolute, definitive terms. His personal morality is clear: He respects people who work hard, are loyal, innovate, and “win,” and he shuns those who don’t meet the criteria. Cruel as it may sound, I think America needs to reenergize these fundamental cultural values before we can ever hope to create a better society. Why Do People Support Donald Trump? - The Atlantic

Your Say

Doesn't sound cruel at all.

You can't assign emotionalism to fact.

Been waaaay too much foot dragging, by overly expensive dead beats. Past time to offload some serious deadbeats.

If you aren't willing to bust your ass HARD for at least 40 hours a week then you need to just get the fuck out. Now.

Consider The Donald as stomping on the political/financial strumpets; a necessary enema for the constipating conspirators serving their own excremental ends.

Time to use "trumpling" as a verb indicating trampling on the stupids.

It isn't just Donald Trump. At this very early stage it is also Bernie Sanders. Populism is nothing new in American politics - William J. Bryan is a 19th century example - what populists mean* is that the major parties have skidded off the track and need to come back because the center (without them realizing it) has moved.

Aside from the US Civil War the US political system skids back on the track. It grumbles, but it has done so. And considering the political nature of the USA, that is a very good thing.

*The rise of a populist messenger in US politics is the "canary in the coal mine".

Trump would make a profit on everything he undertook. Most of it would go to the nation since he doesn't need it.
Imagine telling the Iraqis they hadda pay for our military protection? Tell the Saudis that we will take oil for our efforts on their behalf?
Hire the Israelis as mercenaries, turn 'em loose and do the body count. Russia and China could be undercut in any financial deals.

At home, retain those workers that are earning their money. All the rest, including those failures that work in the shithouse would be fired.

Welfare? Medicaid? Not without drug screening. The borders? get those shiftless National Guardsmen off their asses and do a roundup. justify the costs of any agency or ongoing projects. If none, gone.

Trump's 'absolutist' positions are simply his negotiating starting points. He will give and take as he squeezes out the best deal he can.
The dummies going gaga, outraged at his comments, don't even have pin-heads to spin on.

You correct Stug. They don't have a clue.
