Today, we are cancelling the beepocalypse!

aaabee.jpg

As you can see, the number of honeybee colonies has actually risen since 2006,
from 2.4 million to 2.7 million in 2014, according to data tracked by the USDA. The 2014 numbers, which came out earlier this year, show that the number of managed colonies -- that is, commercial honey-producing bee colonies managed by human beekeepers -- is now the highest it's been in 20 years. - - The Washington Post

But.... but..... the science was SETTLED!

Your Say

I can see tomorrow's headline story: Climatologists have determined that the rise in bee colonies is due to man-made global warming. If we don't get a handle on global warming right now, it is apparent that at this rate the bees will take over the planet in just a decade or two, destroying all the polar bears and delta smelt, not to mention all civilization.

Grizzly,

Yep, these scares are all the same "madness of crowds". The tulip craze, the South Sea Islands Bubble, Man-made Global Warming, ALAR on apples, killer bees, etc., etc.

The big difference with "climate change" (formerly "runaway global warming" — until the planet started cooling — is the $Billions in taxpayer loot keeping the scare alive.

CO2 ("carbon" to science illiterates like Algore) has risen by about 25% over the past few decades. But the planet has not warmed at all for almost twenty years now.

In any other area of science, those promoting the 'Man-made global warming' hoax would be laughed out of their .edu industry. But with all that taxpayer loot propping up the climate scare, that isn't happening.

Which reminds me: how is it that Obama can shovel multi-billions of taxpayer dollars anywhere he wants, without authorizing legislation?? Last year he gave the 'Palestinians' some $400 million! And how about ACORN? They still get $billions without authorization. And his endless, multi-million dollar vacations, with an entourage of hundreds of pals and hangers-on.

But of course, Planned Parenthood does get authorization — another reason to boot out incumbents.

Bees? I thought they were talking about beer.

Anyone who *ever* says "The science is settled" needs a punch in the face. If they look surprised, tell 'em Uncle Letsgo sent ya.
