Now review Trump’s empty sentence: "We need to take America back."

From whom? Notice the intentional lack of detail? In this case, the lack of detail is the powerful part of the sentence.

Who did this awful thing??? Is it the top one-percenters who stole all the country’s money? Is it the liberals? Is it the politically-correct people? Is it the immigrants who are taking jobs? Is it the wrong-headed people in general? Is it the minorities? The women? Is it just our reputation in the world that we lost? Was it our former greatness we lost?

Your Say

Not "From Whom" but "To What."
What were we as a self-respecting and respected nation before we became what we are now?

I notice that a lot of time and energy is being expended on Trump and I wonder why? No mention of the Dems or GOP candidates.

He is not a sideshow act or a buffoon, he is a strong and successful businessman. He is no more obtuse than the rest of 'em. He is a winner.

What's that you say, you want a loser? Really?

Yes Chas, that is what most people want.

They want a liar - someone that will whisper sweet (and hollow) nothings in their ear.

They want promises, someone to make them *feel* like they are being protected and taken care of.

They are mostly children, incapable of thinking or fending for themselves.

They may hold lofty positions but when the sun goes down they become that which they've been programmed to me. Cowardly, non-thinking blobs on the couch in front of the on-going programming, with a dumfone in one hand and a snack cake in the other.

Ask any of them for their thoughts about 5 years from now and you'll draw blank stares and then scorn cause you went beyond their intellectual capacity and struck a painful area of their child-lizard brain.

Nothing wrong with your eyesight, ghost.

Speaking of children and schools:

“When an opponent declares, ‘I will not come over to your side,’ I calmly say, ‘Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.’“ - Adolf Hitler

And this was exactly Obama's strategy. And it's what I mean when I say, "Trump's got a stash!"

Keep the slate blank enough for everyone to write on it.

Yup, Trump is offering hope and change, just like Obama did. Trump has been offering hope and change to desperate people a long time, being a casino owner.

I've heard it said, a time or two, that casinos are used by organized crime for money laundering.
Just sayin'.
