What is it about these smug idiots that forever draws them to the Dark Ages?

They demand that we live without electricity, air conditioning, heat, cars, any and all petroleum products, vaccinations and antibiotics, WalMart, fast food, and pretty much any-and-everything else that is convenient, affordable, reliable, plentiful, and workable.
Their dull-witted core misanthropy is reliant on their own conviction that they themselves will be subject to none of its vicissitudes. They take everything for granted, and assume that they’ll always enjoy the benefits of modern civilization without ever having to do a damned thing to maintain it, foster it, create it, or defend it–that it will always exist despite their own continuous tiresome complaints about it, and their never-ending efforts to undermine and weaken it. As always, their arrogance and sense of entitlement is beyond belief. “If your food tastes good, it’s not natural” --» Cold Fury HY: Happy Acres

Your Say

Forcing them to live that way for one month, would cause apoplexy. That is if they survived.

Maybe they should put their money where their mouth is. Like VW suggests they should live the way they preach.

From Wiki:

Neo-Luddism or New Luddism is a philosophy opposing many forms of modern technology. The word Luddite is generally used as a derogatory term applied to people showing technophobic leanings. The name is based on the historical legacy of the British Luddites, who were active between 1811 and 1816.

Neo-Luddism is a leaderless movement of non-affiliated groups of who resist modern technologies and dictate a return of some or all technologies to a more primitive level. Neo-Luddites are characterized by one or more of the following practices, passively abandoning the use of technology, harming those who produce technology, advocating simple living, or sabotaging technology. The modern Neo-Luddite movement has connections with the anti-globalization movement, anarcho-primitivism, radical environmentalism and Deep Ecology.

Yes, Obamacare for you but not for us and about 1000 of our friendly organizations. Electric (sort of) cars for you, but private jets for us. Totalitarians, same as it ever was.

Big tree, we are the small axe. We just gotta start chopping.

Here's my suggestion for the common good.

If we ALL minded our own dam business we would ALL be a little bit better off.

People that mind other people's business don't have enough of their own to mind and the gov't should step in assign responsibilities - that is, chores - for them to do. Then, at the end of the day they'd be too tired to mind anyone's business but their own.
