there are never any consequences to failure these days.

In fact, failure has become a weird status symbol in the ruling classes.
The bigger the screw up, the more likely it will redound to your favor in the future. It’s as if we have fallen into an alternative universe where all of the normal human structures are upside down and backward. Rambling About the Passive-Authoritarian State | The Z Blog

Your Say

This is true and it's been going on for quite some time to where I can barely tolerate anyone any more.

People brag about their weaknesses, whine about the most trivial things, and cry like little babies over things that were simply not spoken of in days gone by.

My sister in NC's husband had a cyst removed from his ass last week and I have no idea in the world why I am supposed to know this.

I'm mere inches most days from blocking the shit out of a whole buncha people that seriously need to spend some quality time in nurturing their retarded lives.

Swirling down the poop chute.

"...Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity...
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches toward Bethlehem to be born?"
