The fuzz come along after all the shooting is over, hopefully the citizen's efforts after dialing S&W 357.
They do draw nice chalk outlines and admire your pistol before they confiscate it.
The only thing you EVER say afterwards is, "He said he was going to kill me. I believed him. I'm sorry, Officer, but I'm very upset now. I can't say anything more. Please speak with my attorney."

Ya gotta have at least 2 guns any more. You know, 2 is 1 and 1 is none.
But more importantly, if you have to discharge a firearm the boots will confiscate it pending investigation whether it is a legitimate shoot or not. Meanwhile you are disarmed if that is your only ride. Then, the media broadcasts your name, picture and even possibly your address, signalling to all that you are now unarmed - the equivalent to placing a "Gun Free Zone" sign in your front yard.
Anyway, I've never known a good shooter that only owned one gun. When it comes to weapons I believe in diversity and multiculturalism.
