It appears to be signs on an early attempt by Kragon the Rotten, Emperor of the Arachnid Galaxy, Ruler of All that Crawl Upon the Earth and Swim in the Seas.
He has been planning an invasion of Earth for what we call ages but are mere days in his world. Hey, when you breath ammonia time runs differently.
