COULTER: Knowing What We Know Now, Would You Say Jeb Bush is Retarded?

aacoulter.jpg

Was Jeb Bush too busy watching telenovelas during his brother's presidency to remember the Iraq War?
We went to war at such breakneck speed after 9/11, that, before the invasion, I was able to write approximately 30 columns about it, give five dozen speeches on it, discuss it on TV a hundred times and read 1,089 New York Times editorials denouncing the "rush to war." | Truth Revolt

Your Say

The "rush to war" is the most blatantly idiotic lie that is repeated by even conservatives. There was no rush, it was so slow that Hussein was able to easily hide his riches, bury his weapons and ship them to Syria, destroy records, and so on. It was idiotic.

It was certainly not like our response to Pearl Harbor back in the day. Bush did not have support from the Democrats or Republicans or the press or any other country. His ass was hanging out and I bet he made a lot of deals to move forward his war efforts.

That's one fatal flaw we have, we talk it to death before we act and the act becomes anti-climactic.

She's right about Jeb though. He's an idiot.

The only part that bothered me was when Turkey reneged on use of its territory to support the invasion. I thought at the time that maybe the U.S. should call it off until we could get Turkey on board. But then, we may never have gotten Turkey on board because of the Kurd situation.

Coulter cuts like a knife.

On topic: the current situation in Iraq is completely unsatisfactory. Is this enough of a "what if" for everyone? Maybe the question gotchya of the media ought to be: given the current conditions in Iraq, what should we now do? Oh, how present of me. Can't be having that.

Also, Ms. Coulter is welcome to speak on this forum any time. Just saying.

"Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pith and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action."

Let's call birds birds, and turds turds.
Let's call therefore Democrats turncoats when they realized that our initial success in Iraq would politically benefit Republicans more than Democrats. The American people, forget them; they'll believe anything the Moronic Sycophantic Miasma repeats without significant opposition.

We, we, we.
All the blowhard idiots should do exactly what they want and leave everyone else out of it.
Insanity is the fashionable disease of the day and nobody knows they have it.
