"There are absolutely no absolutes"

Because the state of Indiana has now made it legal for a business to refuse service to homosexuals because they believe the practice to be wrong... they are refusing service to Indiana, because they believe such a refusal to be a practice which is... wrong. Your Say

No threat there. Indiana exports it homosexuals, all 2.6% of them, to Illinois anyway.

And what Illinois can't suck up, California and Vermont will vacuum up.

Explain to me, VW, how it is possible that Vermont is the state in which a person does not require the approval of the state to carry, open or concealed.

Have we now reached the point where only sodomites have rights and anal sexual congress (f/k/a the abominable and detestable crime against nature) is the only allowable sacrament.

@James: How is it possible that 49 states create laws in which it is illegal to do so?

I can explain that one, ghost, so can you. I can't understand why Vermont has not gone along, especially since it has been overrun by the hive mind from Mass and NY.

James, they are slowly trying to nibble away at that condition. Bloomberg has some biddy running for the House who is placing a bill to require background checks for private sales. They're on the local level, working to require trigger locks, secure ammo storage and other petty contrivances to get people used to tighter laws. So far only Burlington has voted those laws in to effect.

City Charters can be amended to prohibit carry with the approval of the Legislature. That so far has proved to be impossible.

Vermont has a Gd awful drug problem, gangs are coming into the state from CT to Rutland.

As Progressive as they are, they will blame everything except the cause: Themselves.
