"So what?"

I do not see, or care, why it is thought my duty to like, or dislike,

groups because of their race, creed, color, sex, sexual aberration, or national origin. Nor do I think it their duty to like me. I especially do not understand why the federal government should decide with whom I ought to associate. But back to "So what?" Among its charms is that there is no answer to it, other than huffing and puffing and indignant expostulation. All of these amuse me. Used frequently, "So what?"would shut up people who badly need to shut up, or else force them to think. Not likely, as most apparently cannot. Fred On Everything

Your Say

Nothing shuts people up more effectively than a good hard punch in the face.
They will find it hard to say anything while spitting teeth like Chiclets.

Ol' Fred has hit upon the Breitbart response. AB regularly responded with "So?" when lefties or blacks (a distinction without a difference in most cases) hit him with the "Racist!" H-bomb.

The response in most cases was stunned silence, as his accusers encountered an option never before considered. What it exposed was the fact that the massive majority of angry black folks have never encountered a real racist in their lives, and that all that "Righteous Black Rage" is just a shuck.

By the way, if you've never seen this guy, you should. If you're Southern, it's a guaranteed howl:

A marvelous excerpt from Fred's column:

When I lived in Washington I used to spend afternoons over a Bass and several of its friends at the Cafe Asia, on Wilson Boulevard just across Key Bridge into Virginia. The Asia was then staffed by Asian girls—Malays, Chinese, Vietnamese, and a lovely Japanese woman who managed it. The clientele ran to young white professionals.

Been there myself, sometimes with Fred, and sometimes with his gorgeous recording artist daughter. The Japanese manager is still there, and as wonderful as can be. She remembers her regulars. Fred's daughter even sang for her over sushi and sake. Sublime moments. Café Asia folks, on Wilson Blvd. in Rosslyn, VA, across the river from DC (Georgetown). Go check it out if you're ever in DC.
