This reminds me of something my uncle Letsgo King of the Bantams Lozko did. He had a rooster that was a real producer, the Cock of the Coop. When the rooster died uncle Letsgo took it down to his pal the taxidermist and had it stuffed and mounted. He set the bird in a corner of his living room and would reply when asked why that the bird didn't eat anything and never ran away. "It sit dere many year" was his response.

Same with ordnance. Keep it for years in the basement, never know when you might need it.
