In letting it burn – what do you think will happen?
Our current administration has brought us far closer to nuclear war than we’ve been since the Soviet Union collapsed in on its corrupt self.And worse, it will be a multiparty war that will leave at best 1/3 of the world in ruins. And what they’re doing to the new generation, between indoctrination, unemployment and setting the sexes against each other doesn’t bear thinking too deeply about, lest the black pit yawns beneath our feet. The problem with people like this is that they think its not already burning. We aren't heading toward the iceburg, we've hit it and the deck is tilting. Its too late to fix this ship.

Agreed.
If you aren't swimming at a brisk pace AWAY from the impending downdraft you're going to be pulled under.
At least 47% of the US citizenry are already under and holding their breath, hoping the captain will give them a break oblivious to the fact that he purposely drove the ship into the iceberg.

Civilization is a garden clearing in the midst of the jungle. The jungle just naturally encroaches upon the garden if the garden is not carefully tended to prevent being overgrown by the jungle.
Newer generations think there is no jungle and if the jungle is starting to encroach upon civilization then they celebrate the freedom and diversity of the jungle. They do not know that danger and death lurks in the jungle. With the jungle comes the tiger, the python, and ebola.
