As we saw with the coffee-colored Fonzarelli who bamboozled his way into the White House, cool = votes.

12-Steps for America 4. DROP THE DRUG WAR As with gay marriage, it doesn’t really matter how you feel about the war on drugs.
The war is lost. We killed Escobar and created a vacuum that lead to massive cartel wars in Mexico and ultimately created an environment where Obama and Holder could enact Fast & Furious. The more you meddle the worse it gets. Nobody’s going to ask you to endorse hard drugs, but it pays to shrug your shoulders when asked about marijuana. It’s cool and as we saw with the coffee-colored Fonzarelli who bamboozled his way into the White House, cool = votes.

Your Say

"the coffee-colored Fonzarelli who bamboozled his way into the White House"...

Five a.m., no coffee yet, and I'm laughing out loud already. What a line.

If the drug war is stopped, fine. Then we have to stop any and all taxpayer funded rehab.

Place the death penalty on anyone who commits a crime to get drugs or money for drugs.

Require drug users to purchase a single pay life insurance policy to cover cremation costs.

While they're at it remove alcoholism from the lost of diseases. You're a drunk because you want to be a drunk. If you want to quit, you will. Same with smoking and drugs.

Any other answer like I can't is bullshit!

You were doing fine and I was in total agreement until you got to the word "we", at which point you drove the bus all the way off the cliff.

"... but it pays to shrug your shoulders when asked about marijuana ..." How's that working out for Washington and Colorado?
Just what we need, more fools under the effects of psychotropic drugs, running around stoned and voting for the half-breed faggot we have in the White House.
Drugs in America is dollar-driven. A side effect is the pacification of the masses, like soma in Brave New World. Get everybody stoned and malleable.

"Shrugging your shoulders.....about marijuana" is a reference to the fact that some people still invest energy in the position that the '60s were a great ungood.

THEY'RE OVER. Ahem.

Nobody is more aware of the deleterious effects of the demon weed than I am. But the war on drugs has been waged. News alert: drugs won. MacInnes is correct when he tells conservatives that they better stop making themselves look like fools to the fools who watch television. Pouting in a corner and saying "I was right" while the State bulldozes your entire family history is not going to be of any comfort, or more important, benefit to anybody ever.

"I was right" is bullshit. "I won" is all that matters.
